In P this piece is entitled “Benedicam Domino” but in P index and in other partbooks<br />

is printed “Dominum”; in lyrics both forms “Dominum” and “Domino” are<br />

used. Although in classic latin dative form (“Domino”) is the only correct, in church<br />

latin also accusative (“Dominum”) is possible. Here the text is printed exactly as in<br />
