9. Benedicam Dominum. Canto & Tenore.

In P this piece is entitled “Benedicam Domino” but in P index and in other partbooks
is printed “Dominum”; in lyrics both forms “Dominum” and “Domino” are
used. Although in classic latin dative form (“Domino”) is the only correct, in church
latin also accusative (“Dominum”) is possible. Here the text is printed exactly as in
the C and T part-books.
