il weekend, grazie a una serie di itinerari, che porteranno a conoscere l’area storica del<br />
Superiore, un vero e proprio museo a cielo aperto tra monumenti, opere e testimonianze<br />
storiche, come i sentieri della Grande Guerra. Sabato 17 e domenica 18 maggio, infatti,<br />
turisti e amanti dell’enologia potranno <strong>visit</strong>are il territorio e, in particolare, le 43 Rive,<br />
dove le pendenze e le altimetrie danno origine a sensibili sfumature organolettiche nei<br />
vini. Il Conegliano Valdobbiadene Prosecco Superiore, figlio dell’arte del produrre un<br />
vino di qualità, diverrà così lo strumento attraverso cui raccontare l’arte e la cultura di<br />
un territorio candidato a Patrimonio Unesco. Durante l’evento l’area svelerà anche il<br />
suo lato gourmet, con i “Menù del Conegliano Valdobbiadene”, proposti nei ristoranti<br />
che aderiranno all’iniziativa, studiando l’abbinamento perfetto tra le bollicine di questa<br />
denominazione e i prodotti tipici della cucina veneta.<br />

will also head out beyond the walls of the Castle of San Salvatore and take <strong>visit</strong>ors to<br />
get to know the many gastronomic, cultural and artistic attractions of the region. One of<br />
these is the exhibition entitled “The Restless Sixteenth Century”, which will be held at<br />
Palazzo Sarcinelli in Conegliano from 1st March to 8th June. Within this art gallery in<br />
Via XX Settembre, 100 works will be on show (plus other objects, documents, books and<br />
engravings by Albrecht Dürer) and there will also be a tourist/cultural itinerary available<br />
to <strong>visit</strong> twenty-five other works, divided up between Conegliano and the surrounding area.<br />
Conegliano Valdobbiadene Prosecco Superiore, a product of the art of making high-quality<br />
wines, will thus accompany <strong>visit</strong>ors to explore the art and culture of this zone that has<br />
applied to become a UNESCO World Heritage Site. During the event the area will also<br />
reveal its gourmet side, with the “Conegliano Valdobbiadene Menus” suggested by the<br />
restaurants taking part in the initiative of that name, which will offer perfect pairings<br />
between the sparkling wines of the denomination and the typical foods of Veneto cuisine.■<br />
