Strong dominance of Sydney BlueGum (Eucalyptus saligna), Flooded Gum (Eucalyptus grandis) and Tallowwood (Eucalyptus microcorys) which haveall been recorded, though a mix of these species is the most common occurrence. The dense mid stratum ofpredominantly warm temperate shrubby species is consistent throughout all occurrences. There is an exampleof this community where Tallowwood (Eucalyptus microcorys) is the only canopy species that occurs alongCoopernook Creek Road in Dorrigo National Park. This community also occurs with a high proportion of FloodedGum (Eucalyptus grandis) in various areas around the eastern Dorrigo plateau including Wild Cattle Creek StateForest near Coopernook Creek and some areas near Eve Creek.ExoticsAraujia sericifera, Cinnamomum camphora, Passiflora subpeltata, Solanum mauritianum,Solanum pseudocapsicumSpecies richnessNumber of plots 11Total species 140Average number of species 31 ±11.5Conservation statusThis community is reserved in Bindarri NP (213ha), Dorrigo NP (134ha) and Bindarri SCA (18ha).TenureArea (ha)Crown Land 66Freehold 2122National Park 349NSW State Forest 1400State Conservation Area 18TOTAL 3956Vegetation Mapping of the Coffs Harbour Local Government Area Page 107
