Further investigation of the nature of this community is required.Species richnessNumber of plots 1Total species 20Average number of species 20Conservation statusThis community is not known to be reserved in the Coffs Harbour City Council area.TenureArea (ha)Crown Land 5Freehold 81NSW State Forest 42TOTAL 128Endangered Ecological Community:White Gum Moist Forest in the NSW North Coast Bioregion EECThreatened and Rare plants:Eucalyptus dunniiRelationship to other communitiesRelated to, and transitions to CH_WSF06 (Plateau Blue Gum - Tallowwood - Flooded Gum Wet Shrubby Forest)where Dunn’s White Gum (Eucalyptus dunnii) is replaced by Sydney Blue Gum (Eucalyptus saligna). Remoteinterpretation of this community is problematic as field survey is required to determine the presence ofDunn’s White Gum. Therefore, mapped occurrences of CH_WSF13 without field survey confirmation wouldbe recommended for further validation. Further, it is likely that some areas mapped as CH_WSF06 withoutfield survey may contain elements of CH_WSF13. Further field investigation and refinement to the mappeddistribution of this community is required.EquivalentsBiometric:Dunn’s White Gum tall open forest of the ranges of the northern North Coast (NR156).Other: N73 - Dunn’s White Gum (Fisher et al. 1996).Page 152Vegetation Mapping of the Coffs Harbour Local Government Area
