NEWS :: ACTUALITÉS 3 IFTM Top Resa Helps Industry Navigate Rough Times Thomas Desplanques Director of IFTM Top Resa trade show :::: Directeur du salon IFTM Top Resa The 35 th edition of IFTM Top Resa has been a success despite a difficult economic environment. The number of professionals grew by 2.4% - almost achieving the 30,000 mark (29,480 exactly). Hall 7.2 hosted IFTM Top Resa 2013 over an area of 27,000 sqm. Almost 1,200 brands, were distributed via 348 stands; an increase of 10% from the previous edition. Of the 160 destinations present this year, 11 were also new: Cape Verde, Belarus, Ethiopia, Goa, Haiti, Libya, Panama, Puglia, Norway, Mauritania and Mongolia. 60 tour operators were present, among which 22 as well as the SETO were grouped within the TO village. The Networking Village, meanwhile, hosted five major distribution brands, including a new network, Prêt à Partir, which rubbed shoulders with the more familiar brands such as the TUI Group (Marmara-Nouvelles Frontières), Selectour AFAT, Carrefour Voyages and the CEDIV. The Business Club consisted of specialists in Business Travel, including 50% new exhibitors such as Eva Air, Europcar, Choice Hotels, CIBT Visa, Emirates, Galiléo Travelport, Hcorpo, I Albatros, Logis International, Presence24, and Teldar.
