18 SEEN @ IFTM Top Resa MAP Pro 2016 STAND OU Mauritius The tourism office of the Island of Mauritius and Air Mauritius launched a vast multichannel communication campaign at IFTM Top Resa. This campaign aims to anchor Mauritius as an ideal nature, culture and family destination throughout the year. It follows the Mauritius 365 special offers deployed in May 2016 and invites the French public to discover or rediscover this warm and authentic destination. Seychelles The Seychelles delegation for IFTM Top Resa in Paris was led by Alain St. Ange, the island's Minister responsible for Tourism and Culture, and by Sherin Naiken, the CEO of the Tourism Board. Minister St. Ange noted that this year's IFTM Top Resa was timely for the islands as it follows in the footsteps of the visit to the Seychelles by the heads of three Tour Operators selling the islands through their extensive programmes. SEEN @ IFTM Top Resa MAP Pro 2016 19 T STANDS Sri Lanka From October 30 to November 5, 2016, Sri Lanka will host the Congress of Travel Entrepreneurs, dedicated to “quality in an unstable environment”. It is on this theme that travel agents (on - or off-line), tour operators, receptives, TMCs, and organisers of seminars and congresses will work together in Colombo in plenary meetings. This Congress will also give the opportunity to discover or rediscover Sri Lanka, the Quality Pearl of the Indian Ocean. Turkish Airlines Voted best airline in Europe by Skytrax, Turkish Airlines leveraged IFTM Top Resa to increase visibility of its new flights to the Seychelles starting at the end of October. The Seychelles was their chosen destination for their stand where a branded Paris Taxi sat proudly for all to see. The vivid colourful image of a Seychelles landscape with its turquoise blue seas, lush green vegetation and granite boulders was the photograph used alongside the Turkish Airlines logo.
