A distillate is produced during the charcoal production process. From the charcoal distillate’s dry forma feed additive was elaborated. It contained 67.4% of wood acetic acid and other natural components. The crossLohmann Brown layers’ feed mix supplemented by 0.15% of the charcoal distillate feed additive did not essentiallyinfluence the layers’ productivity. The charcoal distillate feed additive influenced the crop, proventriculusand duodenum pH level that had a slight tendency to decrease in these organs’ feed mass. Whereas in smallintestine (pH=5.37) and caecum (pH=5.70) the decrease of pH level was significant compared to pH level in thecontrol group layers’ small intestine and caecum content (p
