Vergelijking beperkte echografie en uitgebreide echografie bij patiënten verdacht voor

Beperkte compressie-echografie (CUS) bij de verdenking DVT (ook wel 2-punts compressieechografie,
in lies en knieholte) is in vergelijking met flebografie sensitief en specifiek (1). In
eerdere studies is echter al aangegeven dat dit onvoldoende is voor een volledige uitsluiting
van de diagnose DVT, aangezien geïsoleerde kuitvenetrombose zich in ongeveer 1/6 van alle
