The logo representsan athlete celebrating victory,handing a multicolor ribbonfollowing the theme «Unionstronger than Victory», an aspiringmessage appealing to fairplay spirit and for the unionamong athletes.The mascot is a little spark drawnto interact with every sports involvedin the Games, symbolizingfriendship, joy and youth spirit ofthe Olympic Fire. As any Gamesparticipants, it irradiates energyand vivacity, competing with heartand soul. Mascot’s name will beselect by ballot amongPortuguese and other ACOLOPcountries children.
