Uma animação surpreendente e encantadora, toda feita
com lã. Um homem regressa ao campo de nudistas onde
foi criado, para passar os últimos dias com a mãe. Acima
de tudo um filme sobre a perda e a viagem interior que
é feita quando se perde alguém de quem se gosta.
A surprising and enchanting animation, made completely
out of wool. A man returns to the nudist camp
where he was raised, to spend the last days with his
mother. Above all a film about loss and the interior
journey that begins when the life of a loved one ends.

Emma De Swaef
Estudou Artes Audiovisuais/Cinema na Royal Academy of Fine Arts
em Ghent e fez um curso de animação em Bristol. Depois de fazer
os adereços de Panique au Village, este é o seu primeiro filme como
autora fora da escola.
She studied Audiovisual Arts/Film at Royal Academy of Fine Arts
in Ghent and made an animation course, in Bristol. After doing the
props of Panique au Village, this is her first film after graduation.

Marc James Roels
(1978, Joanesburgo, África do Sul) Estudou animação na Royal
Academy of Fine Arts em Ghent. Ganhou prémios internacionais e
nomeações pelas curtas metragens Concern e Mompelaar.
(1978, Johannesburg, South Africa) He studied animation at the Royal
Academy of Fine Arts in Ghent. Marc has garnered several international
prizes and nominations for his shorts films Concern and Mompelaar.

Plano sequência nocturno que vive da inspiração dos
road movies. Aqui, a paisagem da típica “beira de
estrada Norte Americana”, transforma-se gradualmente
numa paisagem construída: os néons dão lugar
ao elemento humano numa instalação/performance
que remete o espectador para uma nova paisagem
inventada.
Night sequence shot feeding from the inspiration in
road movies. Here the landscape of typical “North
American roadside” gradually becomes a built landscape:
the neon lights are substituted by the human
element in an installation/performance that brings the
viewer into a new invented landscape.

(1985) Vive e trabalha em Lille, França. Estudou na Escola de Arte
de Nantes, antes de entrar na Le Fresnoy, Studio national des arts
contemporains. O seu trabalho destina-se à instalação, especialmente
de vídeo.
(1985) Lives and Works in Lille, France. She studied in Nantes School
of Art, before entering Le Fresnoy, Studio national des arts contemporains.
Her work is made for installation and especially video installation.
