dos clientes diários de um pub londrino e
exagera-os de uma forma mordaz e divertida. Uma
animação grotesca que é também uma sátira social.
There’s no place more mundane than a pub. Everyone
goes there for a chat and a drink. Joseph Pierce captures
all the details, physical and psychological, of the
daily customers of a London pub, exaggerating them
in a sharp and entertaining way. A grotesque animation
that also works as a social satire.

Joseph Pierce
(1982, Greenwich, Reino Unido) Desde a conclusão do Mestrado em
Animação pela National Film and Television School, em 2008, é já
vencedor de diversos prémios como animador/realizador.
(1982, Greenwich, UK) Graduated with an MA in Animation Direction
from the National Film and Television School in ‘08 and has received
several awards as animator/filmmaker.

se alguém, um realizador, por exemplo, decidisse ir
ao encontro do outro por detrás do vídeo? Uma curta
metragem sobre afinidades e interferências com a presença
física de ex-desconhecidos.
Not meeting the person on the other side is the rule
at the random meetings online. What about if someone,
a film director, for instance, decides to meet the
person behind the video? A short film about the links
and interferences with the physical presence of extotal
strangers.

Estudou arquitectura e representação em Buenos Aires e Barcelona.
Em 1998 frequentou a NFTS, em Londres.
(Buenos Aires, Argentina) He spent part of his childhood in Patagonia.
He studied Architecture and trained as an actor in Buenos
Aires and Barcelona. He relocated in London in 1998 where he
attended the NFTS.
