7- Kadınlar çoğu zaman iş hayatında<br />
zorluklarla karşılaşmaktadır. Bir kadın<br />
olarak ilaç sektöründe olmanızın herhangi bir<br />
zorluğuyla karşılaştınız mı?<br />
Kadınlar, özellikle de anneler genellikle ailede<br />
özveride bulunan taraf oluyor. Ben eşimin işi<br />
nedeniyle 3 kez işimden ayrılmak durumunda<br />
kaldım. Birincisi aynı şirkette çalıştığımız<br />
için, birimizin ayrılması gerektiğinden benim<br />
ayrılmama karar verdik. Gerçi burada kadın<br />
olmamdan çok maaşı yüksek olanın kalmasına<br />
karar vermiştik. Diğer ikisi ise Rusya’ya gidişimiz<br />
ve dönüşümüz eşimin işi nedeniyle olmuştu.<br />
Giderken Türkiye’deki işimden, dönerken<br />
Rusya’daki işimden ayrılmak durumunda<br />
kalmıştım. Diğer taraftan her problemi fırsat<br />
olarak görürüm. Yine eşimin işi nedeniyle 6 yıl<br />
yaşadığımız Rusya’da, Rusya içi ve uluslararası<br />
görevlerim bana büyük tecrübe katmıştır.<br />
8- Sizi rakiplerinizden ayıran, tercih<br />
edilmenizdeki en büyük sebep nedir?<br />
Kurucumuz Mösyö Pierre Fabre, dünyada,<br />
özellikle gelişmekte olan ülkelerde kaliteli<br />

amacıyla firmamızı, Fransız hükümeti<br />

sağlamaktayız. Başta da belirttiğim üzere hasta<br />
ve tüketici merkezli yaklaşımı ile ağız bakım ve<br />
dermakozmetik dahil tüm ürünlerimiz sadece<br />
uzmanlar tarafından önerilip yalnızca<br />
eczanelerde satılmaktadır. Bu anlamda dünyada<br />
bu tarz faaliyet gösteren ilk ve tek firmayız.<br />
Türkiye’ye spesifik olarak da pek çok ilaç<br />
firmasının aksine, büyüme trendinde ve yatırım<br />

6- As far as we know, your products are imported from France,<br />
where your head office is located. Are you planning to establish a<br />
production center in <strong>Turkey</strong>?<br />
We have two drugs produced in domestic production centers in<br />
our country. Instead of establishing a new production center, we<br />
are collaborating with local production facilities manufacturing in<br />
European standards. In the future, we can certainly reevaluate our<br />
position in accordance with our growth in <strong>Turkey</strong>.<br />
7- Women are confronting with difficulties in business life most of<br />
the time. As a woman in the pharmaceutical industry, did you face<br />
any difficulties?<br />
Women, particularly mothers usually constitute the sacrificing party<br />
in the family. I had to quit my job 3 times due to the job of my spouse.<br />
First, we decided my quittance since we were working in the same<br />
company and therefore one of us had to quit. Actually, the main<br />
reason here was our decision to keep the one with higher salary in<br />
place, rather than my being a woman . The other two were due to<br />
our relocation to and return from Russia depending on the job of<br />
my spouse. I had to quit from my job in <strong>Turkey</strong> when relocating and<br />
from my job in Russia when returning. On the other hand, I see every<br />
problem as a challenge. Also, my domestic and international duties in<br />
Russia where we lived for 6 years due to the job of my spouse provided<br />
great experience to me.<br />
8- What is the main motive distinguishing you from your competitors<br />
and making you preferred?<br />
Our founder Monsieur Pierre Fabre has transformed our company<br />
into a foundation company acknowledged and supported by the<br />
French government for the purpose of increasing access to quality<br />
health services and medicament in the world and particularly in<br />
emerging countries. The company is conducting 23 programs in 15<br />
countries to provide quality health services. Being a pharmacist and<br />
botanist, Monsieur Pierre Fabre pioneered the development of our<br />
products from the plants raised in our botanic gardens. For instance,<br />
chemotherapy agents, also found in our country, are developed from<br />
vinca rosea. These natural active agents provide tolerable adverse<br />
effect profile even in chemotherapy products. Pierre Fabre owns<br />
the widest ranging botanic garden consisting of 1200 different plant<br />
species. Oral care products manufacture from herbal products<br />
also have an innovative and continuously developed wide range. For<br />
instance, besides our non-fluoride toothpastes having a very important<br />
role in human health, we provide effective tooth cavity protection<br />
thanks to Pierre Fabre patented Fluorenol agent used in kids’ tooth<br />
pastes. As I already mentioned in the beginning, within the scope of<br />
patient and consumer oriented approach, all our products including<br />
oral care and dermo cosmetics are only recommended by specialists<br />
and sold only in pharmacies. In this regard, we are the first and only<br />
company in the world operating in such manner. Specific to <strong>Turkey</strong>,<br />
we are an international pharmaceutical company showing growth<br />
trend and focusing on investment, contrary to many pharmaceutical<br />
