Anabilim Dalından Prof. Dr. Aşkın Ali Korkmaz, yöntemin<br />
uygulanma kararında, aort damarının pozisyonu,<br />
damarların yapısı ve kireçlenme durumunun belirleyici<br />
faktörler olduğunu söyledi. Bu yöntemle pek çok<br />
ameliyata imza atan Prof. Dr. Aşkın Ali Korkmaz,<br />
“Ameliyat öncesi detaylı planlama, yüksek teknolojili<br />
donanımlar ve görüntüleme sistemlerinin kullanılması ile<br />
koroner baypas cerrahisi küçük kesilerden mümkün hale<br />
gelmektedir. Bacaktan damar kullanılacağı durumlarda<br />
ise bacağa kesi yapmadan kamera ile tüm bacak damarı<br />
endoskopik (VirtuoSaph Plus) olarak çıkartılabilmektedir”<br />

Recording that small incision bypass surgeries have<br />
become popular in the world recently, Prof. Dr. Aşkın<br />
Ali Korkmaz from the Near East University Hospital<br />
Cardiovascular Surgery Department, said that the<br />
position of the aorta, the structure of the vessels and the<br />
state of calcification were the determining factors in the<br />
decision to apply the method. Having performed many<br />
surgeries with this method, Prof. Dr. Aşkın Ali Korkmaz<br />
said, “With the use of detailed pre-operative planning,<br />
high-tech equipment and imaging systems, coronary<br />
bypass surgery becomes possible through small incisions.<br />
In cases where a vein is used from the leg, the entire leg<br />
vein can be removed endoscopically (VirtuoSaph Plus)<br />
with the camera without making any incisions on the leg.”
