III. Trade exchange –<br />
Suppliers of <strong>PSB</strong> Group S.A.<br />
Last year turned out to be the season of<br />
growth of commodity exchange with<br />
suppliers, for <strong>PSB</strong> Group. The revenue<br />
achieved from sales of <strong>PSB</strong> Group’s<br />
commodities was PLN 1,57 billion and<br />
was higher by 20,7% compare to the result<br />
of the preceding season. In the period in<br />
question, we traded with 500 suppliers,<br />
offering customers around 160 thousand<br />
of assortment items.<br />
In relation to the last period, there were<br />
changes in some goods’ groups, generally<br />
purchased by Shareholders through the<br />
Head Office. Construction chemicals<br />
(<strong>19</strong>,3%) stayed on their leader position,<br />
thermal insulations came second (11,5%),<br />
and wall materials third (11,2%). The next<br />
five positions were taken accordingly by:<br />
dry interior furnishing (6,8%), waterproof<br />
insulations (6,5%), roofing (6%), cementlime<br />
(5,5%), finishing materials (5,3%).<br />
IV. Marketing strategy<br />
All the marketing activities of the Group<br />
have been consequently implemented for<br />
twelve years. According to AT Research<br />
analysis carried out in May 2011, 45% of<br />
respondents responsible in households<br />
for dealing with construction and<br />
renovation matters. Declare the<br />
knowledge of <strong>PSB</strong> warehouses network<br />
whereas 23% respondents – the<br />
knowledge of Mrówka shops.<br />
During the year, 18 other branches were<br />
awarded the <strong>PSB</strong> Group Authorised<br />
Retailer Certificate; at the end of the year,<br />
270 branch offices belonging to the <strong>PSB</strong><br />
network had the authorization.<br />
The season gave 10% increase in activity<br />
of searching the news concerning <strong>PSB</strong><br />
Group but mainly what is offered by <strong>PSB</strong><br />
together with manufacturers and<br />
branches in building materials. The total<br />
number of <strong>PSB</strong> website openinings<br />
reached 5,5 million.<br />
At the beginning of 2011, we started works<br />
over on-line shops and a central base of<br />
products for their needs. In result of these<br />
works, 10 on-line shops were created.<br />
In May 2011, <strong>PSB</strong> Group introduced an<br />
additional loyalty program for <strong>PSB</strong><br />
warehouses customers. It was mainly<br />
dedicated to construction companies but<br />
also to individual investors. When<br />
purchasing materials for house<br />
construction in <strong>PSB</strong> warehouses, they may<br />
collect points and exchange them into<br />
attractive prizes. By the end of the year, the<br />
program was implemented in 57 wholesale<br />
stores (63 branch offices) and it was<br />
financially supported by 46 manufacturers.<br />
Over 2000 customers joined it.<br />
We have noted as much as 43% increase<br />
of publications of articles and short<br />
paragraphs about <strong>PSB</strong> Group in press<br />
and on the Internet – in total, media<br />
broadcasted over 1000 pieces of<br />
information.<br />
Another IX Fair of <strong>PSB</strong> Group was<br />
organized in April 2011, in Kielce. In the<br />
event, over 2700 representatives of<br />
construction business, represented <strong>19</strong>9<br />
exhibitors, 272 <strong>PSB</strong> members and 54<br />
<strong>PSB</strong>-Mrówka shops participated. During<br />
the 2 days, there were 5050 contracts<br />
accomplished with the total value of PLN<br />
<strong>19</strong>0 million (the order accomplished is<br />
estimated PLN 140 million) which<br />
constituted about 9% of revenue of <strong>PSB</strong><br />
Group S.A.<br />
<strong>PSB</strong> Group S.A. was awarded the fourth<br />
„Diamond for the Gold Statue of Polish<br />
Business Leader” granted by the<br />
Business Centre Club, and the Certificate<br />
of "Companies of High Reputation" in the<br />
PremiumBrand 2011 survey. The „Retail<br />
Awards 2010” title for „The Fastest<br />
Development in Poland” was granted to<br />
the <strong>PSB</strong> Group by the SCC Seminars<br />
Conferences Consulting Company for<br />
dynamic growth of DIY shops (of the<br />
„house and garden” sector) in <strong>PSB</strong>-<br />
-Mrówka network.<br />

<strong>PSB</strong> Group took 200 place in the ranking<br />
of „Rzeczpospolita” daily newspaper on<br />
the list of 500 biggest enterprises in<br />
Poland for 2010.<br />
V. Mrówka and Mini-Mrówka<br />
Markets<br />
The year in question was the third season<br />
of a significant acceleration in opening, in<br />
district towns, of the self-service branch<br />
offices called „<strong>PSB</strong>-Mrówka”. 37 shops<br />
were created, thus at the end of 2011<br />
the network included as many as 96 shops<br />
with 1840 employees on 120 thousand m²<br />
of modern trade space offered several<br />
dozens of thousands of products<br />
necessary for renovation and maintenance<br />
of houses, flats and gardens. An average<br />
shop serves a population of 30-40<br />
thousand residents. We estimate that as<br />
many as 1 million of households localised<br />
in villages and small towns purchase<br />
goods in our branch offices. We continued<br />
the creation of small retail shops called<br />
„Mini-Mrówka” of the space smaller than<br />
1000 m² localised mainly in commune<br />
towns. We assume that in the future some<br />
of them will operate based on a franchise<br />
agreement. In 2011, 6 Mini-Mrówka shops<br />
were created.<br />
VI. <strong>PSB</strong>-Profi Shops<br />
It was the second season when we<br />
implemented a long-year program of<br />
establishing <strong>PSB</strong>-Profi branch offices<br />
dedicated, among others, to service of<br />
construction companies. In the vast<br />
majority, they will be the existing<br />
warehouses of which the previous<br />
infrastructure, management and way of<br />
customer service will be adequately<br />
transformed and improved.<br />
In 2011, we concentrated mainly on<br />
detailed preparation of all the procedures<br />
and management standards for such<br />
a branch office, resulting in:<br />
- audit standards and a road map leading<br />
to efficient restructuring of the construction<br />
wholesale house in the Profi centre,<br />
