Summary<br />
During the regulation works on the Krapina river and its tributaries (Croatian<br />
Zagorje) were found at 4m.-depht below ground subfossil Oak stems. When measuring<br />
their age with the method of radioactive carbon — in the 14 C-laboratory of the<br />
»Ruder Bošković« Institute — it was found that the trees had fallen down (most<br />
likely during a cataclysm) some 820 years ago.<br />
