패션에서 응용되는 오리가미 기법은 조형적인 특징을 살린
디자인부터 기능성을 강조한 디자인까지 다양한 패션디자
인의 영감이 되고 있다. 또 시각적 착각은 무한히 확장되거
나 소멸되는 움직임으로 인식된다.
플라이케이션의 조형적인 기법인 접기방식 오리가미는 이
차원의 소재가 삼차원의 인체에 착용되면서 몸과 의상 사
이의 공간은 몸이 움직일 때 마다 새로운 실루엣을 형성한
다. 또 폴딩에 의해 나타나는 구조적 입체감은 그 자체로 장
식적이며 입체감을 보인다. 기하학적 형태의 반복은 형태와
형태 사이, 공간과 공간 사이에 존재하는 동일한 패턴으로
보는 사람으로 하여금 움직임과 리듬감을 보여준다.

clothes as the two dimensional material is worn on the
three dimensional human body. In addition, structural
volume created by folding express decorative and stereoscopic
formation by itself. Repetition of geometric
form shows movement and rhythm to a person who
sees the existing same pattern between shape and
shape, space and space.
