우리가 바다속의 신비를 탐색할 때. 나는 바다의 정수를 보게됐다. 산호는 지구에서 제일 오래 되고
제일 다양한 해양생물중의 하나로 알려져 있다. 그들은 해양의 가혹한 환경에서 아름다운 산호초
로 변했다. 산호가 죽어서 남긴 뼈들이 더 많은 산호충들로 하여금 위에서 한 송이 한송이의 꽃을 피
우게 한다. 이 작품속에는 산호의 모양과 조명의 결합으로 산호가 바닷속에서 보이는 오색찬란함을
표현했다. 또 복장의 형태와 산호를 결합하여 사람과 자연의 긴밀한 관계를 표현했다.
When we explored the secret of the bottom of the sea,i saw the quintessence of the sea.
The coral is thought to be one of the oldest and most colorful creature on the earth.They try to
grow vigorously , extend and build the beautiful coral reef.The skeleton of the coral after their
death makes the anthozoan bloom a lof of small soft flowers.In this work,it shows a riot of
colours by using the combination of the shape of the coral and the light.And it shows the tight
relationship between the people and the nature.

한국의 전통적인 아름다움을 살리기 위해 옷에 고구려 벽화를 프린팅 하였고 옛 것의 아름다움
을 살리면서 세련되고 신선한 디자인을 해보았다. 디자인에서 추구하는 것은 단순한 ‘과거의 향
수’가 아니다. ‘새로운 해석을 더한’ 과거의 향수다. 무작정 ‘옛 것’만을 고집하기보다 옛 성질을
현대적으로 변화시킨 디자인을 선보인다.
< voyages passés ( Past Travel ) >
In order to save the traditional beauty of Korea, I printed Goguryeo mural on my clothes, and tried
to make a sophisticated and fresh design while utilizing the beauty of old. The pursuit of design is not
just a ‘past perfume’. It is a fragrance of the past that ‘adds a new interpretation’. Instead of stubbornly
insisting on ‘old things’, they show designs that have changed their old features to modern ones.
