컨셉: 숭례문을 모티브로 기와와 단청의 조형성을 의상으로 옮겼다.
제목 1398은 한국 국보 1호 숭례문이 처음 건립된 연도이며 컨셉이다.
숭례문에 나타난 한국의 전통 건축 건물인 기와와 단청의 요소를 의상 디자인에 접목하였
다. 잃어버린 전통에 관한 관심을 현대적인 니팅기법과 eva 소재를 이용하여 연출하였다.
특히 한국의 오방색을 중심으로 화려하고 다채로운 드레스와
딱딱하고 구조적인 기와를 조화시켜 텍스처의 다양성을 보여주고자 하였다.
Title 1398 is the concept of the first built-in works of Sungnyemun in Korea’s National Treasure
No.1 I interpreted Korean traditional architecture roofing tile “Giwa” and korean traditional
pattern “Danchung” in Sungnyemun as costume design.
The interest in the lost tradition was expressed using modern knitting techniques and eva material.
Especially, the dress color is expressed in five traditional Korean colors. I tried to show the
diversity of the texture by matching the structural roof tile “Giwa” with the dress.

현실 너머 정열의 광대한 나라
보통 사람들은 살면서 일, 신앙, 결혼, 사랑, 관계 등의 현실과 자신의 욕망과의 타협점을 찾
아간다. 하지만 욕망을 접고 현실에 주저 앉는게 대부분이다.
상상 속의 세계를 현실 속에서 재현하려한다.

A vast country of the passion over the reality
An ordinary people are finding out a meeting point between reality (such as work, religion,
marriage, love, relationship) and the desire of their own in a lifetime. However most of them
deny their desire and rest on their reality. We want to reproduce a imaginary world in reality.
