The design of the FCS 4008 is based on the well proven and patented Sea<br />
Axe design, which provides a lower resistance and excellent sea keeping<br />
capabilities even in rough sea conditions. Due to the Sea Axe design the vessel<br />
is not slamming in waves and provides much better crew comfort and a safer<br />
operation.<br />

The decision making factor for a new boat is surely more than only the purchase<br />
price. We are convinced that the operational and maintenance cost of the<br />
boats is significant lower, as these boats are built according to the highest<br />
shipbuilding standards and only A-brand materials and equipment are used. The<br />
Damen boats have proven to be safe, reliable and providing the most uptime.<br />
This surely helps us to secure further projects for the vessels.<br />
We are supporting our clients throughout the lifetime of the vessels. There are<br />
many Damen vessels of 40 + years in operation. We provided <strong>full</strong> support from<br />
our shipyard and service hub in the UAE.<br />
How long does it take Damen to build the vessels and<br />

It took us around 12 months to build the vessel at our shipyards in Vietnam. We<br />
build all kind of boats on speculation and therefore could deliver the first vessel<br />
within 2 months from contract. These boats are constructed in series and the<br />
next boats are available with a very short delivery time.<br />
During the opening speech, Eng. Adib's son delivered<br />
a unique speech that surprised all the attendees!<br />
