Antton Laine was born in Mogidaz Gruzes, Brazil, in the 18th of August 1972. He grew up in<br />

Kotka in Finland, where he began his dancing career in Kotkan Hyrrät.<br />

Antton has worked as a dancer as well as a choreographer in several theaters in Helsinki<br />

with both Finnish and foreign top artists. Ricky Martin, Kim Wilde, Lena Phillipson, Jill <strong>John</strong>son,<br />

Peter Jöback, Robert Wells, Arja Koriseva, Katri Helena and Jari Sillanpää, just to mention<br />

a few. Antton is also a successful gymnastics choreographer and is well-known all over<br />

the world. Cooperation with his sister, Coach Anneli Laine-Näätänen, has brought him many<br />

world championship titles from competitions Aesthetic Group Gymnastics (AGG) with the<br />

group Team Dynamot and Olarin Voimistelijat. Together with Katja Törmälä, he has won a<br />

world champion title in the show dance category, participated at the Eurovision Song Contest<br />

in Istanbul and in the London Royal Albert Hall production Rhapsody In Rock. In addition<br />

to the AGG competition, Antton’s creativity as choreographer has found employment<br />

in such sports as rhythmic gymnastics, synchronized skating and synchronized swimming.<br />

In cooperation with Georg Malvius he has created the choreography for the operetta „Ball at<br />

the Savoy“ at the <strong>Vanemuine</strong>.<br />

Lauri Liiv õppis aastatel 1996 - 2000 G. Otsa nim Tallinna Muusikakoolis pop-džäss<br />

laulu erialal. Ta on osalenud mitmetes muusikalides: Lun-Tha (Rodgersi “Kuningas ja mina”),<br />

Phaedra (Hermani “Linnupuur”), Herbert, Koukol (Steinmani “Vampiiride tants”), Audrey Uus<br />

(Menkeni “Väike õuduste pood”), Enjorlas (C.-M. Schönbergi “Hüljatud”, Tallinna Linnahallis<br />

ja Neuschwansteini teatris Saksamaal), Pinocchio (Fortini “Ooh, Pinocchio!”), <strong>John</strong> (C.-M.<br />

Schönbergi “Miss Saigon”), sama rolli on ta mänginud ka Helsingi Linnateatris ning osalenud<br />

külalisetendustel Saksamaal ja Luxemburgis; Webberi “Evita”, Barti “Oliver!”, Radames<br />

(Elton <strong>John</strong>i & Tim Rice`i “Aida”), Annas (Webberi “Jesus Christ Superstar”), Collins (Larsoni<br />

“Rent”), Riff (Bernsteini “West Side Story”), Munkustrap (Webberi “Cats”), Anatoli (Anderssoni<br />

& Ulvaeuse “Chess”), Woof (MacDermonti “Hair”, Arena Theater & Festspiel GmbH), millega<br />

andis külalisetendusi Saksamaal, Austrias, Šveitsis, Taanis, Itaalias, Rootsis ja Luxemburgis.<br />

Tema viimane roll oli Chucki Tallinna linnahallis lavastunud muusikalis “Tutvumiskuulutus”.<br />

On osalenud solistina erinevates kontsert-projektides: “Valge Gospel”, “Memory”, “Väike Öömuusikal”,<br />

“Olav Ehala Laulud” jt. Lauri Liiv on olnud ka bändide Black Velvet ja Family solist.<br />

Lauri Liiv studied pop & jazz song in the G. Ots Tallinn Music School in 1996-2000. He has<br />

performed in many musicals: Lun-Tha (Rodgers’s “The King and I”), Phaedra (Herman’s “Birdcage”)<br />

Herbert, Koukol (Steinman’s “Dance of the Vampires”), Audrey New (Menken’s “Little<br />

Shop of Horrors”), Enjorlas (C.-M. Schönberg’s “Les Misérables”, At the Tallinn City Hall and<br />

the Neuschwanstein Theatre (in Germany), Pinocchio (Fortini’s “Ohh, Pinocchio!”), <strong>John</strong> (C.-<br />

M. Schönberg’s “Miss Saigon”), he has played the same part in the Helsinki City Theatre and<br />

has participated in guest performances in Germany and Luxembourg; Webber’s “Evita”, Bart’s<br />

“Oliver!”, Radames (Elton <strong>John</strong> & Tim Rice’s “Aida”), Annas (Webber’s “Jesus Christ Superstar”),<br />

Collins (Larson’s “Rent”), Riff (Bernstein’s “West Side Story”) and Munkustrap (Webber`s<br />

“Cats”), Anatoli (Andersson’s & Ulvaeus’s “Chess”), Woof (MacDermont`s “Hair”) in Arena<br />

Theater & Festspiel GmbH, with whom he toured in Germany, Switzerland, Austria, Italy, Sweden,<br />

Luxembourg and Denmark. His last role was Chuck in the musical „Personals“, staged in<br />

the Tallinn City Hall. Has participated as soloist in various concert-projects: “White Gospel”,<br />

“Memory”, “Little Night Musical”, “Olav Ehala Songs”, etc. Lauri Liiv has been a soloist in the<br />

bands of Black Velvet and Family.<br />

Koit Toome õppis Tallinna Muusikakeskkoolis klassikalist klaverit ja G. Otsa nim Tallinna<br />

Muusikakoolis džäss-klaveri ja pop-džässlaulu erialal. Lisaks laulmisele, klaverimängimisele<br />

ja muusikakirjutamisele/produtseerimisele on Koit üles astunud ka muusikalinäitlejana paljudes<br />

erinevates rollides nii kodumaal kui ka väljaspool Eestit. Tema rolle: Alfred (Steinmani<br />

“Vampiiride tants”, Tallinna Linnahall 2000), Marius (C.-M. Schönbergi “Hüljatud”, Tallinna<br />

Linnahall 2001), Chris (C.-M. Schönbergi “Miss Saigon” Tallinna Linnahall), sama rolli on ta<br />

mänginud kaks aastat Helsingi Linnateatris ning osalenud külalisetendustel Saksamaal ja<br />

Luxemburgis; Roger (Larsoni “Rent”, Tallinnas ja Arena Theater & Festspiel GmbH Euroopa<br />

turnee); Claude (MacDermonti “Hair”, Arena Theater & Festspiel GmbH Euroopa turnee). Rolle<br />

Vanemuises: Siimon (Webberi “Jesus Christ Superstar”), Tony (Bernsteini “West Side Story”),<br />

Quaxo/ Skimbleshanks (Webberi “Cats”), Frederick (Anderssoni & Ulvaeuse “Chess”). 1998.<br />

aastal esindas ta Eestit Eurovisiooni lauluvõistluse Birminghami finaalkontserdil. Ilmunud on<br />

neli sooloplaati “Duetid” (1998), “Koit Toome” (1999), “Allikas” (2007), “Sügav kummardus õpetajale”<br />

(Jaak Joala lauldud laule, kontsertplaat) lisaks sellele on ta välja andnud kolm plaati<br />

popduoga “Code One”. Praegu salvestab Koit oma uut sooloplaati, mis valmib 2010. aasta<br />

kevadel.<br />

Koit Toome studied classical piano at the Tallinn Music High School, jazz-piano and pop-jazz<br />

singing at the G. Ots Music School. In addition to singing, playing the piano and writing/<br />

producing music, Koit has performed as musical actor in many different roles, at home and<br />

abroad. His roles: Alfred (Steinman’s “Tanz der Vampire”, Tallinn City Hall 2000), Marius (C.-M.<br />

Schönberg’s “Les Misérables”, Tallinn City Hall 2001), Chris (C.-M. Schönberg’s “Miss Saigon”<br />

Tallinn City Hall), he has played the same role for two years at the Helsinki City Theatre and<br />

participated in guest performances in Germany and Luxembourg; Roger (Larson’s “Rent”, in<br />

Tallinn and Arena Theater & Festspiel GmbH European tour); Claude (MacDermont’s “Hair”,<br />

Arena Theater & Festspiel GmbH European tour). Roles at the <strong>Vanemuine</strong>: Simon (Webber’s<br />

“Jesus Christ Superstar”), Tony (Bernstein’s “West Side Story”), Quaxo/Skimbleshanks (Webber’s<br />

“Cats”), Frederick (Andersson & Ulvaeus’ “Chess”). In 1998 he represented Estonia at<br />

the Birmingham final concert of the Eurovision Song Contest. He has published four solo<br />

albums: “Duetid” (Duets, 1998), “Koit Toome” (1999), “Allikas” (Fountain, 2007), “Sügav kummardus<br />

õpetajale” (An Homage to the Teacher, songs sung by Jaak Joala, concert album), in<br />

addition to that he has published three albums with the pop duo “Code One”. Currently, Koit<br />

is recording his new solo album that will be ready in Spring 2010.
