Kasper er en autodidakt kunstner: “Jeg lever efter reglen: Hvis jeg kan se det, kan jeg også tegne det.” Hans arbejde er meget tidskrævende: “Jeg tegner på vægge, papir, karton, træ, osv. Dybest set på alt, hvad blyanten tillader. Mine kunsttegninger er ofte meget store, for eksempel har jeg lavet en 300 x 244 cm tegning af den berømte danske gade, ’Nørrebrogade’ i København.” Til skabelsen af Pencilla skønnede han, at det ville tage 1000 timers tegning, hvilket gør den til den mest omfattende kunsttegning, han har skabt hidtil. 1000 hours of drawing Kasper Heron Købke created an elephant with such a realistic texture that it’s almost like you can feel every single hair on its body. Kasper is an autodidact artist: “I live by the rule; if I can see it I can draw it.” His work is very time consuming. “I draw on walls, paper, carton, wood etc. Basically I draw on everything that the pencil allows for. My art drawings are very large scaled, for example I have created a 300x244 cm art drawing of the famous Danish street in Copenhagen called ‘Nørrebrogade.” For the creation of Pencilla he estimated 1000 hours of drawing, which makes it the most comprehensive art drawing he created so far. 19
