rungen. Aus diesem Grund sind die Sprachen darauf
ausgerichtet, möglichst alle Sachverhalte darstellen
zu können und es ist oft nicht klar, was genau an
einzelnen Stellen des Prozessmodells gemeint ist. Die
systematische Überführung von High-Level-Modellen
in ausführbare Modelle erfordert aber eindeutige und
formal fundierte Spezifikationen des Prozesses.
„Aktuelle Lösungen setzen häufig auf fertige Komponenten,
die mit einer Prozessbeschreibungssprache
verschaltet werden können. Dies erfordert oftmals die
Anpassung des Unternehmens an die Software, was aus
unserer Sicht nicht die Lösung sein kann“, so Dr. Bernhard
Freudenthaler, der das Projekt am SCCH leitet.
Der vom SCCH entwickelte Lösungsansatz ist die
Verbesserung der bekannten Prozessbeschreibungssprache
BPMN (Business Process Modeling Notation).
Dabei wird BPMN auf das Notwendigste abgespeckt,
aber auch um zusätzlich notwendige Sprachelemente
ergänzt. Spezielles Augenmerk wird auf die Modellierung
von Akteuren, Strukturierung von Sub-Prozessen,

SCCH’s solution improves Business Process Modeling
Notation (BPMN). This notation is trimmed to the
lean basics, but also extended by necessary language
elements. Special attention was paid to the modeling
of actors, structuring of sub-processes, and communication
and integration with other models (data).
The formal basis is defined by the specification of the
modeling language via Abstract State Machines (ASM).
This enables checking the formal correctness of models.
