„An uns treten oft Unternehmen heran und wollen ein
Forschungsprojekt starten. Gerade bei KMUs sind die
finanziellen Mittel für Forschung meist begrenzt, daher
helfen wir ihnen Fördergelder zu bekommen“, berichtet
Dr. Klaus Pirklbauer, Geschäftsführer des Software
Competence Center Hagenberg. Als COMET-K1 Zentrum
ist das SCCH nicht nur im COMET-Programm
aktiv, sondern auch in verschiedenen anderen Forschungsprogrammen.
„Kombiniert man geschickt, ist es oft
möglich eine ganze Kette von Förderungen
in Anspruch zu nehmen. In
zahlreichen Programmen haben wir
bereits erfolgreich Kundenprojekte
abgewickelt“, so Pirklbauer.

“SCCH is often contacted by enterprises who want
to launch a research project. Particularly SMEs have
limited financial means for research; therefore we
help them to acquire public funding,” reports Dr.
Klaus Pirklbauer, CEO of Software Competence Center
Hagenberg. As a COMET K1 Center, SCCH is active not
only in the COMET program but also in various other
research programs.
“If you combine skillfully, you can build a chain of subsidies.
We have already conducted successful customer
projects in many funding programs,” says Pirklbauer.
The funding instrument that is most often used by
SMEs at SCCH is the Innovation Check, where there
are two variants: the smaller Innovation Check of
€ 5,000 (without the company’s own contribution)
und Innovation Check Plus € 10,000 (with the company’s
