MODERNE KUNST IM FOKUS
Galerist Ernst Hilger lädt im Frühjahr zu attraktiven Ausstellungen ein: In der Galerie
Ernst Hilger in der Dorotheergasse sind unter dem Titel „Zufall der Natur“ Arbeiten
von Nikolaus Moser zu sehen (19. März bis 10. Mai). Die HilgerBROTKunsthalle
präsentiert Werke von Peter Krawagna, Hilger NEXT widmet sich Daniele Buetti und
im Project Room@NEXT steht Alexis Diaz im Blickpunkt (alle drei Ausstellungen
jeweils vom 8. Mai bis 19. Juni).

attractive exhibitions this spring: at the Galerie Ernst Hilger in Dorotheergasse, works
by Nikolaus Moser will be on show from 19 March to 10 May under the title ‘Zufall der
Natur’ (‘Fluke of Nature’). The HilgerBROTKunsthalle will be presenting works by Peter
Krawagna, Hilger NEXT will be devoting its space to Daniele Buetti, and the spotlight
of the Project Room@NEXT will be on Alexis Diaz (all three exhibitions to run from
8 May to 19 June).

MUSIKGESCHICHTE IM MOZARTHAUS VIENNA
Das Mozarthaus Vienna zeigt bis 11. Jänner 2015 gemeinsam mit der Gesellschaft der
Musikfreunde in Wien die beiden Sonderausstellungen „Antonio Salieri. Die Fakten“
und „Christoph Willibald Gluck. Zum 300. Geburtstag“. Beleuchtet wird dabei zum
einen Antonio Salieri in allen Facetten seines Lebens und seiner Tätigkeiten. Weiters
steht Christoph Willibald Gluck im Blickpunkt – ein Komponist, mit dem sich
Mozart zeitlebens beschäftigt hat.
/// MUSICAL HISTORY AT THE MOZARTHAUS VIENNA. Working in association with
the Society of Friends of Music in Vienna, the Mozarthaus Vienna will be showing two
special exhibitions – ‘Antonio Salieri. The Facts’ and ‘Christoph Willibald Gluck. the
300th Birthday’ – until 11 January 2015. The first of these shows examines every one
of the fascinating facets of Antonio Salieri and his activities, while the second takes a
look at Christoph Willibald Gluck, a composer with whom Mozart
engaged throughout his life.

WAHRHEIT ODER FIKTION?
Mit „Das Wunder des Lebens“ zeigen Jos de Gruyter und Harald Thys in der
Kunsthalle Wien bis 4. Mai ihre erste große Einzelpräsentation in Österreich. Den
Hauptteil bildet eine weiträumige Installation. Die Belgier widmen sich in ihren
Arbeiten der Absurdität des Alltäglichen. Ergänzt wird die Installation durch ein
Filmprogramm, welches das umfangreiche videografische Werk der Künstler zeigt.
/// TRUTH OR FICTION? In ‘The Miracle of Life’, Jos de Gruyter and Harald Thys will be
showing their first major one-off presentation in Austria at the Kunsthalle Wien until
4 May. The main part of the show will be a spacious installation. The Belgian artists
apply themselves to the absurdity of the everyday in their work. The installation
will be complemented by a film programme showing their wide-ranging
videographic work.
