Areas of Application<br />
The ARTZT vitality® massage roller is much more versatile<br />
than one might think at first glance. It is suitable<br />
for use in physiotherapy, competitive sports, popular<br />
sports and fitness sports. The roller has many uses:<br />
» Mobilising and relaxing tense muscles with the help<br />
of myofascial release techniques (= loosening /<br />
massaging agglutinated muscle fibre bundles, accompanied<br />
by improved functionality of the musculature)<br />
» Active regeneration with improved circulation<br />
» I<strong>de</strong>al warm-up before and regeneration after sports<br />
» Reduction of muscle tension and stiffness<br />
» Supportive cellulite treatment / lymph drainage<br />
» Coordinative strength training, especially as part of<br />
Pilates training*<br />
» Balance exercises<br />
These instructions focus on <strong>de</strong>scribing the myofascial<br />
self-relaxation technique. The difference between this<br />
and other techniques is that the user utilises his or<br />
her own body weight in or<strong>de</strong>r to complete the exercises,<br />
rather than having to rely on the help of another<br />
