L.L. ⁄ Thank you and here’s a change of subject: You are a great<br />
family man, you have 5 children and six grandchildren. Do<br />
children make you happy?<br />
E.A. ⁄ Family and health are the greatest good on earth, not success<br />
or money! For a person’s happiness it’s not the physical things<br />
that count, it’s no wonder the greatest word in literature is “love”.<br />
Yes, family, love and peace are the greatest happiness.<br />
L.L. ⁄ What moment from your childhood do you remember<br />
particularly well?<br />
E.A. ⁄ A game of ludo, I always was a wild boy and I simply<br />
couldn’t loose! Maybe, growing up on the mountain like I did, one<br />
becomes a bit peculiar, especially with an individualistic temper<br />
like mine. I might have become even more famous than the Kastelruther<br />
Spatzen and earned even more money but I simply refused<br />
to compromise and I probably was a bad businessman. As a result<br />
my musical bandwidth has grown and I’d say that worlds lie<br />
between “Hooo-Ruck” and “Schuster aus Istanbul” (“Heave-ho”<br />
and “Shoemaker from Istanbul”). I was given this variety by God<br />
and I must not do anything differently. So I did it my own, particular<br />
way, my motto was: “You’re different from all the others.”<br />
I think that’s in a song by Peter Maffay (starts singing) …<br />

E.A. ⁄ Unfortunately there are only few who show creativity and<br />
