Výrobu bezešvých trubek jsmezavedli v roce 1896. V roce 1908 byl zavedenStiefelův výrobní proces, za osobní účastivynálezce.Naše firma se tak stala první evropskourourovnou, užívající tuto zcela modernítechnologii. V letech 1918 – 1925 bylyuvedeny do provozu 2 válcovací tratětypu Mannesmann. Od roku 1999 se stalaválcovna trub samostatnou akciovouspolečností. V roce 2005 jsme se staličlenem skupiny podniku TŘINECKÉŽELEZÁRNY, a. s. – MORAVIA STEEL a.s.S účinností ke dni 31. 8. 2010 došlo k fúzisloučením nástupnické společnostiTŘINECKÉ ŽELEZÁRNY, a. s. se zanikajícíspolečností VÁLCOVNA TRUB TŽ, a.s.,která byla její 100 % dceřinou společností.COMPANY PROFILThe very first tube in the Austro-HungarianMonarch had been manufactured in ourcompany in 1883. Welded at first, thespecialised tube production was inspiredby the rocketing demand generated bythe fast spreading use of steam boilers,by the construction of water and gassupply systems, by the developing oilexploitation, as well as by the potential ofa modern steel making company. Seamlesstubes were introduced in 1896 and theStiefel technology started under personalsupervision of the inventor himself in 1908.Our company thus became the Europe’sfirst seamless tube manufacturer usingthen the state-of-the-art technology. Inthe period between 1918 and 1925 twoMannesmann rolling mills had started. Das Motivfür die Einführung der Produktion vonRohren, zuerst jedoch von geschweißtenRohren, wurde das heftige Anwachsenihres Bedarfs im Zusammenhang mitder Entwicklung von Dampfkesseln,mit dem Aufbau von Wasserleitungen,Gasrohrleitungen sowie mit dem Bedarfvon Rohren für die Erdölgewinnung,mit der Ausnutzungsmöglichkeit dermodernen Stahlwerkbasis. Die Fertigungvon nahtlosen Rohren haben wir im Jahre1896 eingeführt. Im Jahre 1908 wurde unterpersönlicher Anwesenheit des Erfinders derStiefelfertigungsprozess eingeführt.Unsere Gesellschaft ist hiermit das ersteeuropäische Rohrwalzwerk geworden,die diese hochmoderne Technologieverwendet hat.
