Um 9 Uhr erwartet Sie Ihr Gästebegleiter
in der Hotellobby und startet mit Ihnen in
Ihrem Bus zum Ausflug ins benachbarte
Großherzogtum Luxemburg. Zunächst
geht es entlang der Obermosel bis Remich
und von dort in die Hauptstadt Luxemburg.
Die Rundfahrt durch das moderne
Bankenviertel und vorbei an den europäischen
Institutionen verdeutlicht die
internationale Bedeutung unseres Nachbarlandes.
Danach besichtigen Sie Altstadt und Kathedrale
und verbringen Ihre Mittagspause
entweder in einem gemütlichen Restaurant
oder beim Einkaufen.
Durch die sogenannte Luxemburgische
Schweiz mit dem romantischen Müllerthal
und der 698 n. Chr. gegründeten Abteistadt
Echternach geht es zurück nach
Trier.

At 9 a.m., your guide will meet you in the
hotel lobby to begin the excursion by your
bus to the neighboring Grand Duchy of
Luxembourg. At first, you will travel along
the Upper Moselle as far as Remich and,
from there, into the capital city Luxembourg.
The coach tour takes you through
the modern banking district, past the institutions
of the European Union, an impressive
display of the international significance
of our neighboring country.
A walking tour through the Old City and
Cathedral follows. You can have lunch in
a cozy restaurant or go for a stroll through
attractive shops and boutiques.

ist die „Igeler Säule“, ein monumentales
römisches Grabdenkmal, das zum
UNESCO-Welterbe zählt.
Am Abend erleben Sie in Trier moselländische
Gemütlichkeit bei einem örtlichen
Winzer mit Winzermahl und kommentierter
Weinprobe.

The return to Trier takes you through
Luxembourg’s so-called “Little Switzerland”
in the romantic Müller Valley and on
to the abbey town of Echternach, founded
in AD 698.
Another highlight shortly before Trier is
the “Igel Column,” a colossal Roman burial
monument that is part of the UNESCO
World Heritage.
In the evening, back in Trier, you can
experience Moselle hospitality at a local
vintner’s with a vintner’s supper and
commented wine tasting.
