Awareness Tools for everyday, invisible radiation fields
The aim of my bachelor thesis “Awareness Tools for everyday, invisible radiation fields” was to provide alternatives in designing electronic objects based on the whole spectrum of people's attitudes towards electro-smog. The objects are supposed to make invisible everyday radiation fields perceptible without becoming radiation guns themselves. They are supposed to be not only aesthetically but also emotionally appealing. Form, function and performance all play with the users’ expectation and aim at changing their perception and utilisation of technical devices. The added value of the objects exceeds pure functionality. Ultimately, an emotional bond between the object and the user is established, leading the user to a reflection about his or her own notions of electro-smog.

Handys funken in der Tasche nicht!<br />
Wenn Du die Zelle wechselst melden sie sich kurz in der Zelle<br />
an! ansonsten ganz selten mal ein “Ich bin noch da“.<br />
Nimm´ mal den Akku raus und guck ob´s immer noch kribbelt ;-)<br />
Vielleicht eine allergische Reaktion auf das Gehäusematerial?<br />
Oder das Waschmittel das Du verwendest da die Hose durch das<br />
Handy besonders starken Kontakt zur Haut hat?<br />
DAS ist ja gerade der Versuch... wenn man Dir in jede Tasche ein<br />
Telefon stecken würde und du könntest sagen welche Seite funkt<br />
und welche nicht dann hättest DU den Beweis gebracht für die<br />
Existenz!!<br />
Ich bin gespannt! Nur Mut! (Vielleicht ist “Wetten Dass..!“ das<br />
richtige Forum um nicht in die Mühlen der Mobilfunkerverschwörung<br />
zu kommen ;-)<br />

Schon was von Grenzwerten gehört. Radioaktivität kommt auch in<br />
der Natur vor und das nicht zuwenig.<br />
