Das Kunstmuseum Basel richtet dem in Zürich geborenen und in Rom
und London berühmt gewordenen Künstler Johann Heinrich Füssli eine
grossangelegte monographische Ausstellung aus. Füssli war einer der
einfallsreichsten und unkonventionellsten Erneuerer des ausgehenden 18.
Jahrhunderts.
Thirteen years after the last major presentation of his work in Switzerland,
at the Kunsthaus Zürich, the Kunstmuseum Basel mounts a comprehensive
monographic exhibition of the work of Henry Fuseli, a native son of Zurich
who rose to fame in Rome and London.

PICASSO – BLAU UND ROSA 03.02.2018 – 26.05.2019
In ihrer bis dato hochkarätigsten Ausstellung widmet sich die Fondation
Beyeler den Gemälden und Skulpturen des frühen Pablo Picasso aus der
sogenannten Blauen und Rosa Periode von 1901 bis 1906.
This exhibition, the most ambitious ever staged by the Fondation Beyeler, is
devoted to the paintings and sculptures of the young Pablo Picasso from the
so-called Blue and Rose periods, between 1901 and 1906.
