Kunstretreat 2019
This gift book aims to help readers to relax with art, color, poetry and sound based on the “Fascination of worldwide art, color and meditation” exhibitions (Enter into Art 2018-19) promoting small-format images. These are joint projects with artists from around the world. Our intercultural events take place annually in Germany. The world comes to Germany and presents her art. The magic of our exhibitions lies in the combination of colors and art, of thought and feeling, and in the use of sound and its capacity to fascinate across cultures. Whether or not a work of art or a poem is famous does not matter. What matters is whether it helps the visitor within its small art retreats to find enjoyment, relaxation and intercultural understanding. In the exhibitions, the images are sorted by color and combined with poetry and relaxing music. The images are presented in the German-language online gallery at www.meditaterra.de and on our English archive website www.enterintoart.com. The 24 winners were selected by an international jury. The printed book is available in the book trade and in internet bookshops. Die 5. Internationalen „Enter into Art“-Kunstinstallationen zur Förderung kleinformatiger Bilder fanden im Verlauf von einem Jahr an den drei Flüssen Rhein, Mosel und Lahn statt (in Bad Breisig. Bernkastel-Kues, Köln, Bonn und Bad Ems). Der Ausstellungskatalog zeigt 292 Bilder von Künstlern aus 49 Ländern und fünf Kontinenten. Gleichzeitig ist er ein Poesiebuch zur Entspannung mit Kunst, Lyrik und Farben. Ebenso wie in den Ausstellungen wurden die Bilder in „Farbzonen“ zum achtsamen Betrachten und Entspannen arrangiert. Neben den verschiedenen künstlerischen Techniken und Stilrichtungen sowie Skulpturen, Gedichten, entspannender Musik und Klang fließt der Gedanke des interkulturellen Austausches ein. Für die Leser steht eine Anleitung zum achtsamen Kunstgenuss bereit, die auf Wunsch umgesetzt werden kann. Im Rahmen der jährlichen Ausstellungen hat eine internationale Jury 24 Preisträger ermittelt.
