Alarms. You can send orders to device in order to manage
alarms. Area alarm (Geofence) sends alarm messages via SMS
when a dog leaves certain area. The Bark Alarm means that the
dog collar sends an alarm when dog starts or stops barking.
Alarms function independently whether you have Tracker Hunter®
on or not. You cannot start a new alarm until the previous one has
ended or it has been ended from the same phone number where it
had been started from.
Tracker weather. A weather forecast of the target‟s position.
Remove target removes target from the list and, if you choose,
from the programme.
Set My position. You can set my position elsewhere than GPS defines it. This
icon is shown only when the target is my position.
Some of the main functions of Tracker Hunter®
Tracking
Background Tracking (BGT) is always on, when the collar is On. To start or quit Background Tracking and to set
the interval anew, go to Targets > List all > Dogs > (name of the target) > Tracking > Background Tracking.
Real Time Tracking (RTT). Real time Tracking has always a certain period and length. To initiate Real Time
Tracking, go to Targets > List all > Dogs > (name of the target) > Menu > Tracking > Real Time Tracking, set
duration and interval and Start Real Time Tracking. Wait a moment, and the dog starts “running” on your screen.
To start Real Time Tracking with displayed target, go to Targets > Start RTT.
NOTE! When you want to do real-time tracking with less than 30 second interval, your collar should be on Full
Power mode.
SMS based Tracking In SMS tracking the position data is sent periodically to the hunter. Choose Targets > List
all > Dogs > (name of the dog) > Tracking > (SMS) Tracking > Start tracking. Set the amount of tracking
responses wanted and interval of the tracking responses.
Single location will find the location via Live service or vis SMS depending whether the connection to the Live
service is active or not (Targets > List all > Dogs > (name of the dog) > Tracking > (choose the type of tracking)
Locate). Single location request can be sent when the target is chosen as displayed target. Go to Targets >
Locate. In some cases you might want to force the SMS positioning, which is most reliable, go to Targets > List all
> Dogs > (Name of the device) > Tracking> (SMS Tracking) Locate.
NOTE!
If GPRS network is not available, data will be sent as an SMS. The size of each location data packet sent to the
hunter is approx. 0,0001 MB.
Sharing location data with other users
You can choose to share location information of your dog. To allow this, choose Menu > Targets > List all > Dogs
> (name of the dog) > Settings. Choose to activate the Share position data. You can also share your own position
by choosing Reply to all/selected in Menu > Settings > Location.
A friend can view your dog's location data by adding the target in his or her Tracker Hunter® application (Targets
> List all > Dogs > Add dog).He or she should then choose a search on the Tracker Live service instead of a
new tracking device. He or she must know the share name and password at this point. You can choose whether
you want to reveal your owner password or viewer password to your friend. We do not recommend giving out the
owner password.
You can choose to stop allowing others to see you or your dog by changing the settings. Then your friends or
group members don‟t see the dog anymore. However, friends who have the owner password will still be able to
follow the dog as before. You can also change the password of the targets you own. If this happens, the viewers
of the dog also have to know the password to be able to see the target.
