Alarms
Geofence (Area alarm)
By giving the radius of a circle you can create a permitted area around given location of the device. If device
leaves the circled area an alarm message informing this is sent to the user.
Go to Targets > List all > Dogs > (name of the target) and choose Menu > Alarms > Set geofence. Then set the
center coordinates (Type in the coordinates, or choose the position of the cursor, the position of the target or Your
own position), the geofence radius and alarm interval (=time how often the device checks if it is in the permitted
area or not). Press Send.
In case device exits the permitted area the device sends max. 20 alarm messages to the user. After that, if the
target re-enters the area and leaves again, the device will send another 20 messages. If the GPS of the device is
Off it will automatically turn On if the device exits the permitted area and will be On according to the interval set for
the Geofence.
Bark detector
The device includes a bark detector and bark calculator. Bark calculator encloses into each location message the
number of barks. Bark volume has four default values, which are adjusted from the Tracker Hunter®.
To set the bark detector sensitivity choose Targets > All targets > Dogs > (name of the target) > Configuration
commands > Set bark sensitivity. If the bark calculator does not work properly, try another bark sensitivity.
The barking interval is shown in the map view in the top bar, above the dog‟s icon or you can go to map view with
the target chosen, then press Targets > Target info. Or you can see it in the messages, Menu > Messages.
The device also includes bark/silence alarm. The alarm sends a message to the hunter device when the bark
interval is below/above preset values.
To set the bark alarm, choose Targets > All targets > Dogs > Alarms > Set bark alarm. Now
set time limit and rate limit of the bark. When the dog‟s barking frequency exceeds the value you set for it, in the
time period you set, you will receive an SMS notifying the dog has started barking. When the barking frequency
decreases below the values, you will receive another notification.
NOTE!
Bark detector may be influenced by external sounds, like branches hitting the device. Therefore, the device may
detect barking when the dog is not actually barking. If the bark detector does not function well, change the bark
detector sensitivity.
