Managing groups
To manage groups, choose Targets > List all > Groups. When forming the groups, the group founder becomes the
group‟s administrator. The administrator is the only one to invite frineds and to add collars to the group. When
necessary, he or she can share the admin rights with someone. When adding collar, one needs the sharename
and the viewer password. A friend can be invited with their sharename or phone number. The friend has to accept
the invite before he or she can join the group. The invitation is saved in messages if it‟s not answered immediately.
Measuring the length of dog’s travelling
There are two ways to measure the length of dog‟s travelling; odometer and track info.
Odometer
Odometer is inside of the G400 collar. The collar independently counts the distance traveled. The odometer is
turned on automatically when you turn the device on and the distance is measured every 15 seconds. Odometer is
reset every time the device is turned off. You can see the odometer from Device Info view, which can be opened
from many places, e.g. by choosing in Map view Targets > Target Info.
NOTE!
Because odometer needs GPS position to calculate the distances, it works best in Full GPS power mode. In other
modes the GPS positions are taken less frequently and the travelled distance is not as accurate as in full GPS
power.
Track info
Tracker Hunter® saves automatically track of all targets you have chosen to display. Track is also saved on
Tracker Live server. If Tracker Hunter® does not have the track of the day you have chosen, the track will be
updated from the Tracker Live service.
Track includes track statistics of trip odometer and average and maximum speed etc. You can reset track info by
yourself and choose the resetting point. Track is explained more thoroughly in Replay (Menu > Replay).
Replay opens automatically track of the displayed target and my position of the last 12 hours. Time and targets
can be changed in Replay menu. Replay shows the distance to the starting/reset point. The distance depends on
your choices. As a default is shown the length of the track, but you may also choose distance to a certain point or
between two targets.
Reset point refers to the point set by you, which is the starting point to the measuring of the distance. You can set
the reset point in the menu. New point overrules the previous, but points are saved into the memory, and therefore
you can easily change points with shortcut keys. At first you can change between the starting and end point and
between the beginning and the end of the line of tracking points.
Practical example: Measuring a dog‟s fetching track.
1. Measuring should start before dog leaves.
a. Go to Replay (The time is at the end as a default. If thet is not the case, go to the end of the time)
b. Add reset point
c. Close replay
d. In the end of the fetch, you just need to open Replay and you see the length of the track.
2. Measuring the length of the trip afterwards
a. Go to replay (The time is at the end as a default. If thet is not the case, go to the end of the time)
b. Rewind the time until the dog‟s icon is where thte fetch started
c. Add a reset point
d. Forward to the point you see the fetch has ended
e. You can see the length of the track. In Track info you can see more information on the track.
