Treasure hunt
What a day! I can’t believe I found the treasure. My grandfather told me about it and this
summer I wanted to find it. So today, I left my hotel at 7.30 am. I walked south to the beach.
It was lovely but there was nothing there. I walked back up the road and turned right. I found
a bakery and bought biscuits and doughnuts there. Then I came to a crossroad. I decided to
turn left. The road took me past some cows. I said “hello”, but they couldn’t help me find the
treasure. The sun was very hot. I had a break by a lovely river. I looked under the bridge but I
couldn’t see anything. I crossed the bridge and walked by the river for a long time but there
was no treasure there. I could see a lighthouse. I walked towards it. I walked past an old
cottage on my right. There was nobody there to ask about the treasure. After a while I came
to the beach. It was a very long beach and there was an old boat at one end. I thought that
was a good place to hide the treasure. I looked and searched for a long time. And then under
a bucket, I found it! I was so happy.
