Reform has also set new standards with its Mounty 100
mountain tractor. With 95 horsepower, higher permissible
axle loads, more driving and working comfort, and in creased
safety on slopes, it shows the way of the future in agri culture,
specifi cally for mowing and reaping, and forestry work with
a rope winch or a pulley block. A particular highlight is the
hydrostatic travel drive with electronic control. Depending
on the specifi c use, the driver can preselect the maximum
speed with three different levels, 0-5, 0-15 or 0-40 kilometres
per hour. With the lever under the steering wheel
on the left-hand side, the forward-reverse shuttle can be
changed at any speed, without clutching and without
creating any friction.
The Regent company was founded by Ferdinand Berger
Sr in 1925. Each year, this family-owned fi rm with 120 employees
produces approximately 2,500 ploughs and other
kinds of machinery. Since the company began operations,
about 140,000 units have been shipped. Its export share
amounts to approximately 60%, and Regent enjoys success
most importantly in the countries of the EU and eastern
Europe. A milestone in the company’s history was introduced
in the 1930s: a horse-drawn plough which is still
known among many farmers today. The year 1946 saw an
innovation, the fi rst of its kind in the world: a tractormounted
reversible plough.
On top of that, Regent has performed valuable pioneering
work in developing the fully reversible plough, which
continues to dominate the market. In the past few years,
production was converted to make use of the most modern
manufacturing technology available, and major investments
have been made, such as in CNC lathing, drilling,
and milling technology and blanking machines, electronically
controlled tempering furnaces, start-to-fi nish robotwelding,
a fully automatic sandblasting unit and enamelling
lines with hot-enamel microspraying. Regent’s products

Neue Maßstäbe hat Reform mit dem Bergtraktor Mounty
100 gesetzt. Mit 95 PS Leistung, höheren Achslasten, mehr
Fahr- und Arbeitskomfort und hoher Sicherheit am Hang
eröffnet er zukunftsweisende Perspektiven für die Landwirtschaft,
wie Mähen, Forstarbeiten mit Seilwinde oder
Zug arbeiten. Ein besonderes Highlight ist der hydrostatische
Fahrantrieb mit elektronischer Regelung. Je nach Arbeitseinsatz
kann der Fahrer die maximale Fahrgeschwindigkeit
mit den drei Stufen 0–5, 0–15 oder 0–40 km/h
vorwählen. Mit dem Hebel links unter dem Lenkrad lässt
sich das Vorwärts-Rückwärts-Shuttle ohne Kuppeln und
völlig verschleiß frei bei jeder Geschwindigkeit ändern.

gegründet. Jährlich produziert das Familienunternehmen
mit ca. 120 Mitarbeitern ca. 2.500 Pfl üge und Geräte. Seit
Bestehen der Firma wurden etwa 140.000 Einheiten ausgeliefert.
Der Exportanteil beträgt ca. 60 Prozent, wobei Regent
besonders in den EU-Ländern sowie in den osteuropäischen
Reformstaaten sehr erfolgreich ist. Ein Meilenstein
in der Firmengeschichte war der in den dreißiger Jahren
entwickelte Gespannpfl ug, der vielen Landwirten heute
noch ein Begriff ist. 1946 wurde die Weltneuheit eines Traktor-Anbau-Winkelpfl
uges konstruiert.
Weiters leistete Regent wertvolle Pionierarbeit bei der
Entwicklung des bis heute marktbeherrschenden Volldrehpfl
uges. In den vergangenen Jahren wurde auf modernste
Fertigungstechnik umgestellt und es wurden große Investitionen
getätigt, wie z. B. in CNC-gesteuerte Dreh-, Bohr-
und Frästechnik sowie Zu schnitt anlagen, vollelektronisch
gesteuerte Vergütungsöfen, 100-prozentige Roboterschweißung,
eine vollautomatische Sand strahlanlage und eine Lackieranlage
im Heißlack-Mikro sprühverfahren. Die Regent-
