Since 1950, more than 100,000 of their products have been
sold. All production, from the simple dump body to the tridem-axle
tipper, takes place in Austria. The dump bodies are
characterized by their sturdy three-point frame and a standard
Hardox-steel blade.
Tippers are available in single-axle, tandem-axle and twoaxle
three-sided models with various types of pressed sectional
frames. Especially worthy of note is the possibility of
using it with the attachable walls, which give the Brantner
three-sided tipper the stability of a dumper.
Power-Tube, Brantner’s dumper stands out because of the
conical shape of its trough. With the Power-Push push-off
dumper, a force-feed valve can be used for controlled compression
of the load. The Power-Tube, Power-Push, chopper
and fl at wagon are available with up to an eight-wheel chassis
with permanent rear-axle steering. Even special wishes
can be satisfi ed thanks to fl exibility and production on the
most modern electronically controlled welding, cutting and
bending robots available.
A premium brand of the CNH Group, which has a worldwide
presence, is Steyr Traktoren of St Valentin. For some
time now, it has served as a dynamic source of ideas for tractor
technology and innovative services. The spectrum of
what it offers extends from the fi rst mass-produced tractor,
a model 180 with the chassis number 1001, delivered to Leopold
Haider in Steinbach/Steyr on 29 September 1947, to
design studies for the tractor of the future. Many more than
half a million tractors have already left the St Valentin plant
so far. Spurred on by its entry into the world market on all
continents, which was made possible when it joined the
Case IH Group, Case IH-Steyr has set its sights on total output
of up to 9,500 tractors each year. The St Valentin location
is regarded as the Case IH corporation’s high-tech centre.
The most recent technical innovation is the Puma
tractor, a particularly quiet special design with rated power
of 167 to 213 horsepower.
Sprinkler systems, sowing machines and liquid-manure
technology are the focuses at the Röhren- und Pumpenwerk
Bauer GesmbH of Voitsberg. Bauer is in the process of
successfully expanding, part of a consistently applied plan.
Its export quota amounts to more than 90%, and the most
important markets are eastern and western Europe, North
America, and China also.
In accordance with the company’s motto ”for a green
world“, Bauer recently presented the AS 64, a 64-metre irrigation
boom designed for fi elds of 72 to 86 metres in width.
This system, which is hydraulically collapsible and can be
rotated 360 degrees, is equipped with a ball-and-socket
swivel compensator. The accompanying four-wheel wagon
with four-wheel steering can be hitched on both sides, and
its track can be adjusted. Built entirely of hot-galvanized
steel, both symmetrical and asymmetrical pipe retraction is
possible, and its transportation width of only 2.5 metres
makes it suitable for road traffi c.
The family-owned Fuhrmann company in Steinebrunn,
Weinviertel, has been in business since 1856, and manufactured
its fi rst trailer in 1937. More than 20,000 pieces of

umgesetzt wird. Die Exportquote beträgt mehr als 90
Prozent. Hauptmärkte sind vor allem Ost- und Westeuropa
sowie der nordamerikanische Kontinent, aber auch China.
Dem Unternehmensleitspruch „for a green world“ folgend,
hat Bauer vor kurzem das Auslegerstativ AS 64 präsentiert,
das die Beregnung landwirtschaftlicher Fläche in
einer Breite von 72 bis 86 Metern ermöglicht. Die konstruktive
Auslegerbreite beträgt 64 Meter. Dabei ist das System
vollhydraulisch klappbar und um 360 Grad schwenkbar
und verfügt über einen kugelgelagerten Pendelausgleich.
Der dazugehörige 4-Rad-Wagen mit 4-Rad-Lenkung ist
beidseitig anhängbar und kann in der Spurweite verstellt
werden. Die Konstruktion besteht komplett aus feuerverzinktem
Stahl, ermöglicht sowohl symmetrischen als auch
asymmetrischen Rohreinzug und ist dank einer Transportbreite
von nur 2,5 Metern auch straßenverkehrstauglich.
Der Familienbetrieb Fuhrmann in Steinebrunn (Weinviertel)
besteht seit 1856, der erste Anhänger wurde bereits
1937 hergestellt. Mehr als 20.000 Fahrzeuge wurden seitdem
für die Landwirtschaft produziert. Eine innovative
