____ A broad and upright-growing shrub with sturdy fruiting branches;
fruits large, deep orange-red, cylindrical to bead-like, fixed
densely on fruiting sprigs, ripening rather late (mid September to
mid October), fruit colour remains even after frosts throughout
the winter - a beloved cultivar with high vitamin C-content, and
especially lovely as ornamental shrub and for bouquets; brought
into trade by H.-J. ALBRECHT, Berlin, in 1979. D, H, St. Zone
