Das Museum für Kommunikation Frankfurt gehört zu den ersten
Museen am Frankfurter Museumsufer. Das Deutsche Architekturmuseum
und das Museum der Weltkulturen liegen in Nachbarschaft
am Schaumainkai.
Farbiges Licht dient als Wegweiser für die Kommunikation. So steht
Blau für Zukunft und allgemeine Technik, Gelb für Deutsche Post
und Magenta für Deutsche Telekom. Die öffentlich­rechtliche Stiftung
wird in einem einzig artigen Partnerschafts­Engagement von
diesen Unternehmen getragen.
The Frankfurt’s Communication Museum is located on the city’s
Museum Embankment, while the German Architecture Museum
and the Ethnological Museum are located in close proximity to
Schaumainkai, a street in central Frankfurt running along the south
side of the River Main, which includes a number of museums.
Communication here is colour coded: blue stands for the
future and technology, yellow for Deutsche Post (Germany‘s
only universal provider of postal services), and magenta for the
German telecommunications company Deutsche Telekom.
This public­sector foundation was founded via a unique partnership
between these organizations.
