• Framing and line coding:<br />
- T1: D4 or ESF framing and B8ZS, B7ZS or AMI line coding<br />
- E1: Provides G.704 framing and HDB3 line coding<br />
• Maximum 3 interface cards per unit, providing a maximum of 120 voice channels<br />
or 124 data channels<br />
NOTE: Requires a DSP-160 or HD DSP module for voice calls (see “Installing or<br />
Upgrading the DSP Module” on page 4-5). The HD DSP is required for GSM<br />
support.<br />
• Interoperability with other channelized digital interface cards:<br />
- Can be installed and operated on a unit that has one or more single/dual port<br />
T1/E1, ISDN-BRI S/T, or legacy E1 interface cards installed in the other<br />
slots.<br />
- Cannot be installed on a unit that has one or more legacy T1 interface<br />
cards installed in another slot.<br />
