5.1: Joint deflection<br />

FPI’s Reka Double bell coupling joints, used to join pipes, allows for a certain angular deflection. The maximum allowed<br />

angular deflection á, distributed equally on both sides of the joint, and the resulting Offset and the radius of curvature (R) are<br />

given with respect to the pipe nominal diameter and section length, in table 9.<br />
