Analysis of Construction Versus Non-Construction. Animal behavior recorded during<br />

construction periods was compared to information collected during non-construction periods.<br />

Cetaceans<br />

For cetaceans, “traveling” only occurred during non-construction periods. “Chuffing” and<br />

“diving” occurred only during construction activities. “Swimming” appeared to be unaffected by<br />

the occurrence of construction activities (Table 17).
