A heated discussion was had by Chas. M. Miller and, M, Huber Hess<br />
concerning pu'shing snow near tbe curb in and about Centre Square,<br />
Relief Committee: -No report.<br />
Street Light Committee: M. Huber Hess reported. that street lights<br />
had been turned off at six o'clock in the morning and it was stated. that<br />
arrangements had been made to have tbe lights kept on until seven otclocky ADAMS<br />
The Secretary reported that advertising bids would. be inserted in the<br />
ne wspaper for the street lighting contract and that Borough <strong>Council</strong> would<br />
take action on January 2, <strong>1939</strong> at their meeting.<br />
The Secretary read. . :. to:~. the <strong>Council</strong>, the Resolution of respect on the<br />
death of Senator Jo~r G. Homsher. On motion of, E ~ . R. Murphy, second. ed by<br />
M. Huber Hess, it was resolved that the Resolution be accepted and that a<br />
copy of it be placed on the <strong>Minutes</strong> and that a copy be forwarded to the family<br />
of the d. eeeased.<br />
