MINUTES OF MEETING OF STRASBURG BOROUGH COUNCIL HELD NOVEMBER 6, <strong>1939</strong>.<br />

The meeting was called to order by Milton H. Ranck, President ~<br />

The <strong>Minutes</strong>. of the previous meeting were read and approved.<br />

Jacob H. Ranck, Vfater Superintendent, reported tnat there<br />

was plenty of overflovr at the Reservoir but that there vras no overflow<br />

at the springs; that the s tandpipe vras one-half full; that a nevr connect-<br />

ion had. been made for John A ~ Coyle at bis new property, just East of<br />

tbe Borough of Strasburg; that; a renewal connection had. been made at tbe<br />

India Kreider property on Miller Street.<br />

Relative to the Coyle connection tbe Secretary reported that<br />

he had sent in to the Highvray Department the papers which vrere executed<br />

re3a tive to the permit to dig up the street, and bad enclosed bis check<br />

in the sum of $6 ~ 00 covering the permit; fee.<br />

-Gn motion o f E ~ R. Murphy, seconded by H ~ C ~ Kaufman and duly<br />

passed. , it was resolved that out;side of the Borough of Strasburg cost o f<br />

connection to the Borough main should be $25 ~ 00 plus reasonable costs<br />

e<br />

for obtaining a permit and resurfacing the road. a<br />

-The Secretary reported that he had drawn a draft of the lease<br />

from Ross and Clyde Denlinger to the Borough of Strasburg for a lot of<br />

land. on which to erect the lime injecting apparatus; that be had forwarded<br />

said draft to F ~<br />
