MINUTES OF SPECIAL MEETING OF STRASBURG BOROUGH COUNCIL HELD MARCH 27~ <strong>1939</strong>6<br />

the President, - a special meeting of 'Strasburg Borough <strong>Council</strong> was held in<br />

the <strong>Council</strong> rooms on'Monday evening, March 2'7, <strong>1939</strong>; at '7:30<br />

The meeting was called to order by Milton H, Ranch, President,<br />

On motion duly made, seconded. and. passed the reading of the<br />

<strong>Minutes</strong> of the previous meeting NQe d. ispensed with,<br />

On motion of Leon C ~ Hensel, seconded. by William T. Koch and<br />

duly passed, . the issuance of Voucher 25'I, issued, March 14, <strong>1939</strong>, to the<br />

First National Bank of Strasburg, being interest on Borough Bonds to April<br />

1, <strong>1939</strong>~ in the sum of $650, 25, was approved,<br />

On motion of H. C~ Kaufman, seconded. by Sherman W Book and duly<br />

passed, it was resolved that the arrearage of interest in the sum of $98, 22<br />

owing to the Strasburg Borough Sinking Fund on the mortgage held by Strasburg<br />

Borough covering 16 acres and 96 perches of land, partly in Strasburg and<br />

partly in East Lampeter Townships~ said property now owned by William J.<br />

Schilling, be waived on condition tha t the principal sum of $2200, 00, together<br />

with current interest up to the date of settlement, i, e, , on or about April<br />

1, <strong>1939</strong>~ be paid. ~<br />

On motion of E ~ R. Murphy, second. ed, by M. Huber Hess and duly<br />

passed, it was resolved that Frank B. Koch, Burgess, and W, J, Weaver,
