On motion duly made, seeonded and passed the Secretary was directed to write to the State Highway Department to accept their offer to clean Borough streets of snow, Light Committee: No report, Re lie f Commit tee: No report, The Secretary referred to Council two matters which had. been dis- cussed by the Civic Improvement Committee of the Lions Club - No. 1, being the placing of disposal cans for waste paper, ete. , at convenient spots within the Borough, and the other one being, the active cooperation of the Borough in an effort to have aI1 weather tennis courts constructed on the Playground As'sociation property Both matters were considered but no action was taken. On behalf of W. J.
