The student should note that board is payable monthly IN
ADVANCE ; the matriculation fee and the gymnasium and ath-
letic fees are payable in full at entrance. Of the remaining fees,
half is payable at entrance and half on February ist.
The Gymnasium and Athletic Fee had its origin in the request
of the students. The money derived from this fee is used to
defray the expense of maintaining the various forms of athletic
activity at the college. Payment of the fee entitles the student
to membership in the athletic association and to free admission to
all athletic contests on the home grounds.
The College Fee is a payment towards the general incidental
expenses of the college, fuel, servants' hire, medical attendance
and maintenance of buildings and library.
Student Activities Fee.—The entire student body has asked for
a Student Activities Fee of $15.00, which, for purposes of administra-
tion, will be collected by the Treasurer, and used as follows
$5.00 for the Colonial Echo
$3.00 for the Flat Hat
$3.00 for the Literary Magazine
$2.00 (Boys) for the Y. M. C. A.
$2.00 (Girls) for the Y. W. C. A.
$2.00 for the Literary Societies
Each student will be entitled, without additional charge ,to a
copy of the Colonial Echo, a subscription to the Flat Hat and Lit-
erary Magazine, and membership in the Y. M. C. A. or Y. W. C. A.,
