DEGREE REQUIREMENTS<br />
<strong>The</strong> degrees <strong>of</strong>fered are Bachelor <strong>of</strong> Arts (A. B.), Bachelor <strong>of</strong><br />
Science (B. S.), and Master <strong>of</strong> Arts (A. M.)<br />
<strong>The</strong> requirements for degrees are stated in terms <strong>of</strong> "credits"<br />
(semester-hours). A course runs for one term (semester) which<br />
is one half <strong>of</strong> the college year, and each course carries as many<br />
credit as it has class-meetings per week through the term. Class<br />
meetings or periods are one hour in length (including five minutes<br />
for change <strong>of</strong> classes) but a laboratory period is two hours in length<br />
counting one credit.<br />
One hundred and twenty-six credits are required for a Bache-<br />
lor's Degree.<br />
Of these 126 credits, sixty are prescribed for Bachelor <strong>of</strong> Arts<br />
and sixty-four for Bachelor <strong>of</strong> Science as outlined below<br />

Ethics or Logic 3 credits<br />

Additional credits in Latin or Greek or Math. (<strong>College</strong><br />
Algebra or Trig.) 6 credits<br />
