The response to these programs has been enthusiastic,
and magnifi es the impact they have on the Seminary’s
ability to meet the needs of our Church and communities.
The Seminary’s Annual Giving and endowment
must continue to grow, however, to keep pace with the cost
of its mission and expanding commitment
to our students and the
Church. Gifts to endowment have
an impact far beyond the Seminary.
Since seminaries of the Episcopal
Church receive no fi nancial
support from the national church,
gifts to Virginia Seminary are, in
the end, gifts to our churches and
communities.
As the Seminary looks to
the future of its historic and timeless
mission under the new leadership
of Dean Markham, it does so
with confi dence and momentum,
made possible through the generosity
and strong commitment of
many graduates, friends, foundations,
and parishes.
For this faithful enterprise
to meet the challenges and
opportunities of the years ahead,
