Four Virginia Seminary students were recipients in 2007 of fi nancial awards
from the Church Periodical Club, an independent organization affi liated
with the Episcopal Church. In addition to providing free literature, both religious
and secular, to people around the world who need and ask for it and
may have few if any other resources, the Club makes annual grants to seminarians
to help them buy books. Grant recipients at Virginia Seminary this
year are Christopher Girata from the Diocese of Atlanta; Matthew Humm,
Diocese of Northern Ohio; Leigh Hall, Diocese of Georgia; and Robert Wetherington,
Diocese of Atlanta.
